Being anal, I decided to change the oil / filters on the Hydro Drives. Everything went smoothly (except for one really stubborn oil filter), until I went to purge the units. If I recall, Hustler calls for a hydro oil and filter change every 200 hours, according to their maintenance schedule. Hydro-Gear calls for a hydro oil and filter change every 400 hours, according to their service manual. I plan on a 200 hour schedule for my Toro. You can push full sticks fast with the unitzed on my Spartan the it hardly changes the sound of the motor. #1 I'm wondering if anyone on these forums has owned a ZTR with the EZT trannies and has had to have one repaired or replaced. If so, how many hours of service did the ZTR have on it, how large of yard (s) were mowed with it weekly and how much did the repair/replacement cost..
